MUSCLES ARE IMPORTANT!
Without them we would explode into a blob of fat and fall in a heap.
Man or woman, young or old, muscles (apart from their obvious task of carting us around) do quite a lot in the metabolic process to keep the fat down and keep us lean and trim
MUSCLE BOUND?
You won't build muscles of Herculean proportions (Hypertrophy) - especially if you are a female.
In order to do that you need to be:- a) Genetically disposed and/or take enhancing substances b) Do a phenomenal amount of weight training.
I prefer the idea of shapely (what a lovely word!) and flexible muscles
